About this scholarship
Women (or applicants who identify as female) who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and accepted into a full-time graduate (master's or PhD) or similar-level professional program (such as medicine or law) at an accredited Universities Canada member university may apply. Studies must lead to a career that improves the quality of women's lives. Applicants must be committed to working in Canada for at least two years after graduation, intend to use the award in the following academic year, contribute through volunteer service, and need financial assistance. BA-level studies, medical residencies, and colleges not affiliated with a Canadian university are not eligible.
The Soroptimist Foundation of Canada offers several grants of $8,500 each year.
Submit a complete application with all required documents between November 1 and January 31, in English or French, through the Soroptimist Foundation website.
