SolidEssay - Scholarship Essay Contest

High school and college students may enter an original English-language essay of 600 to 800 words on one of the posted topics. Entries must be emailed as a Word or Google Docs attachment with the writer's full name and email at the top. Plagiarism disqualifies an entry, and entrants are asked to follow SolidEssay on Facebook and Instagram.

First place receives $1,000, second place $700, and third place $500. English teachers and editors review submissions anonymously. Winners may have their work published on the SolidEssay site or social channels.
