Snil “Sunny” Sahanan Memorial Scholarship

Full-time University of Toronto Mississauga students enrolled in an Anthropology specialist, major, or minor who demonstrate financial need (as an OSAP recipient or by submitting a UTM Grant application) may apply or be nominated by faculty. Preference goes to students with a record of social activism.

The 2025-26 award has an approximate value of $1,295.88. Submit an original essay or relevant coursework on non-violence in international relations (essays: 2-3 pages, 1.5 spacing, 12-point Times New Roman, 1-inch margins; presentations, photo essays, video, or podcast also accepted). Complete the online application form and email materials to secretary.utmanthro@utoronto.ca by February 5, 2026.
