SMART Scholarship Program

U.S., Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, or UK citizens at least 18 by January 1 who hold a 3.0 or higher GPA and pursue a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral STEM degree at a regionally accredited U.S. college may apply for the DoD SMART Scholarship-for-Service.

The program provides full tuition plus an annual stipend of up to $46,000 (amount varies by degree level), summer internships, and post-graduation civilian employment with the Department of Defense. Applications open August 1; the deadline is the first Friday in December.
