About this scholarship

First-generation college students from underserved backgrounds with primary residence in Orange or San Diego County, California, who are admitted to Chapman University's MMS Physician Assistant Studies Program may apply. Candidates must demonstrate financial need, leadership experience, community service, and an excellent academic record.

The Simon Scholar Physician Assistant Program provides full-tuition scholarships. Recipients commit to practicing as a physician assistant in Orange County for at least three years after licensure.

Apply to the PA program through CASPA, then complete the Simon Scholar application with a personal essay, tax information, and three letters of recommendation. The program is supported by the Ronald M. Simon Family Foundation.
