About this scholarship
Washington State residents who have completed at least one year of postsecondary education in Washington and will enroll full time with an above-average GPA may apply. Strong written and oral communication skills are expected. Washington Policy Center membership is not required.
WPC awards two Silver Cloud Foundation scholarships of $5,000 each annually, plus ten additional $100 essay prizes. Scholarships recognize leadership, commitment to public service, and personal values.
Prepare a resume or list of academic, community, and professional accomplishments. Provide your institution, degree or certification, and cumulative GPA. Write an essay of no more than 650 words on why free markets are vital to your future in Washington, then upload materials through the online application by July 5.
