Sigma Gamma Rho National Education Fund Scholarship

The National Education Fund of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., one of the Divine Nine organizations, awards scholarships of $500 to $2,000 annually to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate financial need. Scholarships are available to students of all backgrounds attending nationally accredited institutions; sorority membership is not required.

Applicants must be incoming freshmen, continuing, or transfer students at an accredited 2-year or 4-year U.S. institution with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Recipients are selected on financial need, academic and personal merit, and community involvement, and may reapply each year through degree completion.

Applications are submitted online; the 2026 deadline was May 22, 2026, with recipients notified in August.
