About this scholarship

Seniors at a Washoe County, Nevada, high school graduating in June with a minimum 3.25 unweighted GPA and demonstrated involvement in school and community activities may apply.

The Sierra Nevada Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution awards up to five non-renewable $2,000 scholarships toward college, university, or vocational and technical study.

Submit the chapter application packet with a student essay, financial aid form, two letters of recommendation, transcript, proof of U.S. citizenship, and proof of acceptance or enrollment at a post-secondary institution. Essays must be typed, double spaced, up to 1,000 words.
