For Canadian-citizen undergraduate or graduate students in the Faculty of Science at UBC Vancouver.

Scholarship amounts vary. Shirley Snelgrove and John Yule established the endowment; they met at UBC as part of the first Computer Science graduating class in 1971.

The Faculty of Science recommends recipients. Graduate selections also involve the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. No separate application.
