About this scholarship
Optometrists currently serving in an advanced practice contact lens residency at a North American school or college of optometry may apply for the Sheldon Wechsler and George Mertz Contact Lens Residency Award. Recipients must be Academy members at award acceptance.
Four $2,000 awards are given (two Sheldon Wechsler and two George Mertz).
Applications are evaluated on education, research, and teaching potential.
