About this scholarship
Open to students enrolled in a Library and Information Sciences or Library Technician program (certificate, diploma, or graduate degree) at a Canadian post-secondary institution, in any year of study. Applicants must show a passion for library sciences, financial need, good academic standing, and provide one letter of reference.
Two awards of approximately $2,500 each, applied directly to tuition. Preferably one award for an undergraduate student and one for a graduate student.
Apply through the Calgary Foundation. The scholarship honours Shelagh Neary Mikulak, a leader and mentor in the library community who served with the Calgary Law Library Group, the Special Libraries Association of Western Canada, and national library associations.
