About this scholarship

New Jersey residents currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are majoring in nursing, social work, medical technology, or biology may apply. You must be an advocate for organ and tissue donation, have a personal connection to donation, or have career interest in donation and transplantation.

The Sharing Network Foundation awards multiple scholarships with varying amounts based on available funds. Awards may be renewable.

Complete the foundation application with an essay reflecting your advocacy, connection, or interest in organ and tissue donation. The foundation supports clinical advancement, donor family support, and public awareness about donation and transplantation.

  • Must be a New Jersey resident
  • Must be a full-time high school senior entering college in the fall
  • Must be an organ/tissue donation awareness advocate, or personally affected by (or a family member of someone personally affected by) organ and tissue donation/transplantation
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Three letters of recommendation (NJ Sharing Network/Foundation personnel ineligible to write them; highlight donation advocacy involvement)
  • Current high school transcript
