The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Endowed Scholarship provides $7,000 per academic year. Five awards are available. Undergraduates may renew for up to eight semesters depending on degree program and academic performance; graduate funding length is determined case by case. Renewal requires full-time enrollment and a 2.5 GPA.
Apply through the University of Minnesota diversity and financial aid office. The scholarship supports recruitment and retention of talented American Indian students at the university.
