​SGS Master’s Completion Bursary (MCB) – School of Graduate Studies

Master's students at the University of Toronto who were delayed by unanticipated factors beyond their control and must register full-time beyond normal program length to finish a minimal amount of remaining work can apply for the SGS Master's Completion Bursary (MCB).

The bursary equals the difference between part-time and full-time tuition for SGS doctoral-stream master's students in the final session of registration. Catalog amount is listed as varies because the value depends on the student's program fees.

Apply with the MCB form, a supervisor or associate chair letter explaining the delay, and any supporting documents, submitted through your graduate unit. You must be within the degree time limit, have been invoiced beyond the minimum degree fee, and have received little or no funding in the final session.
