SGEU Indigenous Scholarship

SGEU members in good standing, their spouses or partners, or dependants who are continuing post-secondary study may apply for the Indigenous Committee scholarships. Two awards of $1,000 are available.

Submit the online form by August 31 with a transcript, enrolment or acceptance confirmation, proof of Indigenous ancestry, proof of SGEU membership, an updated résumé, and a 200 to 500 word essay on community and union involvement and education goals.
