About this scholarship
Undergraduate students who are Michigan residents enrolled at an accredited Michigan college or university may apply. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, a history of community service, and strong scholastic performance. Two awards of $8,500 are granted annually.
Submit an essay, the most recent 1040 tax forms for all parents (or personal 1040 if no longer a dependent), a letter from a non-relative confirming community service, a Michigan driver's license or state ID, and an acceptance letter or transcript.
The S.E.T. Educational Fund, founded in Michigan in 1998, supports community-minded residents who excel academically while helping others.
