About this scholarship
Up to three Michigan residents who are graduates of Michigan high schools or transfers from another Michigan college, accepted to Lake Superior State University with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrated public-service leadership, may compete for the Senator Philip A. Hart Memorial Scholarship.
The award covers full-time tuition and is renewable by meeting distinguished scholarship renewal criteria.
Complete the online Hart application listing leadership roles and community projects, write a formal essay of up to 500 words on how your service aligns with Senator Hart's ideals, provide three references, and include your current transcript. Apply by April 1.
