About this scholarship

Queen's University upper-year students domiciled in Quebec (preferably Quebec City or County, or the Gulf Region including Rimouski, Bonaventure, Gaspe, and Iles de la Madeleine) are automatically considered for Senator Frank Carrel Upper-Year Scholarships. Candidates must have been domiciled in Quebec for at least one year prior to April 30 while enrolled in an upper year, and remain so for the scholarship term. Several scholarships are awarded annually for general proficiency in the previous year's work. Amount varies.

The awards honour Senator Frank Carrel, a Quebec publisher and legislator who represented the Gulf Division until his death in 1940.
