About this scholarship

High school seniors and undergraduate or graduate students worldwide pursuing geophysics or related geosciences with above-average academic performance may apply. SEG awards up to 96 merit scholarships ranging from $500 to $10,000 per academic year, with average awards near $2,800 to $3,600.

Submit one online application between November 1 and March 1 through Grantinterface with transcripts and two faculty references. Applications are automatically considered for all eligible SEG funds. Renewals require participation in SEG-related activities.
