About this scholarship

Students from any country attending a university with a degree program related to the commercial explosives industries may apply. This includes technical, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral study in explosives-related fields.

The SEE Education Foundation offers scholarships ranging up to $7,500, with awards starting at $400.

Download and complete the application through the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) website. Applicants are evaluated on academic and professional achievements, industry goals, a personal challenges narrative, and a brief statement of financial need.

Founded in 1996, the SEE Education Foundation supports long-term education in the explosives industry through scholarships, training materials, and advocacy for explosives instruction in engineering curricula.

  • Personal Challenge, Financial Need and Goal Statement submitted as a single combined document containing all three narratives
