About this scholarship
Children and grandchildren of a Seabee or Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officer who are high school seniors or first-time college freshmen under age 23 may apply for undergraduate scholarships toward accredited bachelor's, associate's, or career and technical education (CTE) degrees.
Scholarships of $5,000 are awarded based on leadership, citizenship, character, financial need, and scholastic record. Up to 210 awards are available. Graduate study, part-time programs, and great-grandchildren are not eligible.
Submit the application with sponsor eligibility documentation (such as DD-214), FAFSA, transcript, activity list, recommendation letter, and essay. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
