About this scholarship
U.S. high school seniors accepted to or enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school may apply by creating a 20 to 30 second original video answering "What has science done for me?" or "What has science done for somebody I know?" with the hashtag #ScienceSaves.
Eight winners share prize funds, with the first prize award up to $10,000. Additional prizes include second place ($2,000), third place ($1,000), People's Choice ($1,000), and four honorable mentions ($250 each).
Judging focuses on creative, succinct storytelling using original photos, video clips, and text to show how science matters.
