University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry third-year DDS students with the highest mark in Oral Surgery may receive the Schwetz Memorial Scholarship.
One award is made annually; the amount varies. Selection is by the faculty; no student application is required.
The award was established from an endowment by Dr. Viola Labodowsky in memory of William Stephen Schwetz, D.D.S. 1958, an oral surgeon on the Faculty staff until his death, and was first awarded in 1979/80.
