About this scholarship

For Canadian citizens graduating from a Canadian high school, secondary school, or CEGEP who are nominated by their school and plan to study STEM at UBC Vancouver or Okanagan. Selection considers at least two of: academic excellence, demonstrated leadership or entrepreneurial talent, or financial need.

Schulich Leader Scholarships in Engineering pay $30,000 per year for four years ($120,000 total). Faculty of Science scholarships pay $25,000 per year for four years ($100,000 total). Renewable for three additional years or until the first undergraduate degree, whichever is shorter, while enrolled in a STEM faculty.

High school, secondary school, or CEGEP nomination and a separate Schulich application are required. Awarded on the recommendation of Enrolment Services.
