CTRF typically awards 4 to 6 scholarships annually, ranging from $4,000 to $6,000 each. Selection weighs academic achievement, relevant work experience, a clear transportation research focus, career objectives, and reference letters. Apply with a cover letter, official transcripts, a 300-word research summary, and two reference letters when CTRF posts the competition (English or French).

- Combine cover letter, transcripts, and summary into a single PDF; do not submit a CV or resume
- Must be a full-time graduate student at an accredited Canadian University
- Competition is posted by CTRF; applications may be submitted in English or French.
