SCHIMSS Scholarship

Students enrolled in accredited South Carolina undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate programs in health information management, health information technology, health management with an IT focus, or technology programs with a health focus may apply.

One scholarship of $3,000 is awarded annually to a student with at least a 3.0 GPA in an eligible field emphasizing health information management or technology.

The South Carolina HIMSS chapter (SCHIMSS) supports the pipeline of qualified professionals pursuing healthcare information technology careers in the state.
