Sarah Joan Alward Bursary

Applicants with at least one year of study at an accredited college or university who are engaged in healthcare fields that benefit the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, other health care institutions, or health care programs in northwestern Alberta. Priority goes to identified regional healthcare occupational needs. Applicants should have healthcare experience or education, demonstrate commitment and growth potential, and be prepared to sign a one-year Alberta Health Services return-of-service agreement (which may be waived if the region has no need).

Bursaries range from $1,000 to $2,500; the number awarded varies.
