Sangra Memorial Entrance Award

For a student entering the J.D. program at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law who has achieved academic excellence, demonstrated athletic achievement and community involvement, and completed their entire secondary school education, including graduation, within British Columbia.

A $20,000 entrance award offered by Harjit Sangra (UBC Law Class of 1984) of Sangra Moller LLP in honour of his mother Gurbax Sangra. The award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.

Gurbax Sangra never had the opportunity for post-secondary schooling, but was an ardent believer in higher education and the opportunities it provides.
