About this scholarship
High school seniors from Bexar County who are unconditionally admitted to Texas A&M University at College Station, Galveston, Qatar, or McAllen may apply, including students who attend high school outside the county or are home-schooled but reside in Bexar County. Blinn TEAM, Engineering at Blinn, and similar transition programs are ineligible.
Multiple Opportunity Awards are available; individual award amounts vary. Selection weighs academics, extracurricular activities, financial need, and an interview for finalists.
Complete the online application on the San Antonio A&M Club Foundation website with proof of unconditional acceptance and a transcript.

- Completed and signed San Antonio A&M Club application form
- Typed essay of 750 words or fewer
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official high school transcript through the first half of senior year
- SAT and/or ACT score report
- Proof of unconditional acceptance
- Must be graduating from a high school in Bexar County, or reside in Bexar County at time of graduation (including homeschool/online students residing in Bexar County)
- Must be a high school senior entering Texas A&M University - College Station in the fall after graduation
- Must be unconditionally admitted to Texas A&M University - College Station (not Blinn TEAM / Engineering at Blinn / other transition programs, and not other TAMU System campuses)
- Complete and sign the two-page San Antonio A&M Club Application Form
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official high school transcript with grades through the first half of senior year
- Copy of SAT or ACT exam scores (SAT, ACT, or both)
- Selected finalists must complete an in-person 15-minute interview
- Finalists must complete an in-person 15-minute interview.
- Selection weighs academics, extracurricular activities, financial need, and the finalist interview.
