Full-time graduate students in Urban and Regional Planning at Toronto Metropolitan University who are completing a major research paper or thesis and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and research excellence with significant practical impact may apply.

The award provides $3,500. Endowed in 2024 by the Samit and Reshma Sharma Foundation, it supports research that advances understanding of architecture, urban issues, planning challenges, and community development.
