About this scholarship
Jewish women who are graduate students residing in the metropolitan New York area may apply if they are enrolled in and attending a graduate program by January 31 and are pursuing a field that benefits humankind, such as medicine, education, public health, psychology, or social work. Interest or involvement in Jewish culture is expected.
One recipient receives approximately $1,400.
Prepare a statement of no more than two typed, double-spaced pages covering your qualifications, and include your home address and email. Email the statement to B'nai B'rith International by the deadline.
The award honors Sally Schneider, an advocate for education, independence, and Jewish values.
