About this scholarship

U.S. citizens living in the United States who have been diagnosed with and treated for a gastrointestinal condition by a licensed healthcare provider may apply if they have applied to, been accepted by, or are currently attending an accredited nonprofit two- or four-year college, university, or post-high school vocational or technical school. Open to undergraduates, graduate students, and parents pursuing degrees.

Ten recipients each receive a $10,000 award.

Submit two letters of recommendation, school and community activity information, a signed confirmation of your condition from your treating provider, proof of application, acceptance, or enrollment, and a 500-word essay on how your condition has affected you and the role your healthcare provider played in treatment.
