About this scholarship
Women currently admitted to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited university, with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA at their most recent education level and residing in the United States, may apply for the Sahara Hope Scholarship For Women Empowered To Change The World.
Two $1,000 awards are disbursed to winners' universities. Extra consideration goes to applicants impacted by domestic violence, those pursuing education or careers in sexual health, and those with strong academics, financial need, and community service.
Complete the application by the stated deadline with an essay of up to 750 words (500 recommended) on why you deserve the scholarship. Selected winners must verify enrollment.
The scholarship honors Sahara, who was killed in 2021 three days after her 23rd birthday, and supports women continuing her legacy of impact.
