About this scholarship

U.S. high school seniors who are current or recent participants in Ford NGL Communities or Powered by Ford STEM Academies and plan to pursue engineering or related science at an ABET-accredited U.S. program may apply through SAE International.

One $5,000 award is applied directly to the student's university account for tuition or incidental educational expenses.

Applicants need a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA, transcript, and two recommendations (one academic, one activity-based). Submit via the SAE portal by February 28.
