About this scholarship

Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Indigenous Pacific Islander students or employees of tribal, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian cultural preservation programs may apply for archaeological training (not limited to field schools). The award is also open to Native peoples from anywhere in the Americas.

One Arthur C. Parker Scholarship of up to $6,000 is available.

Submit an application form, two letters of recommendation (one from a current SAA member), a personal statement, an itemized budget, and proof of Native identity.
