About this scholarship
Minority female residents of Georgia enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate Communication Sciences and Disorders program may apply for the S.I.S.T.A.s of Middle Georgia Scholarship. Undergraduates need at least a 2.5 GPA; graduate students need at least a 3.0 GPA.
One $2,200 award is paid to the school in the recipient's name after the student provides a college ID or ID number. No personal checks are issued.
Besides the application, submit a 7-minute or shorter audio file covering your name, a fun fact, why you deserve the scholarship, a role model, and where you see yourself in 3-5 years in speech-language pathology or audiology; a recommendation from an SLP, audiologist, CSD professor, supervisor, or mentor (not affiliated with SISTAs); and an official transcript.
