About this scholarship
Female graduates of Forest Lawn High School in Calgary who identify as female, graduate in the award year, and have strong Grade 12 standing in math, science, and English may apply for the Ruth Ursula Leipziger Scholarship if they continue full-time to a university math, science, or engineering program with at least 60% of first-year courses in science and math.
One award of $1,500 is available. Apply through the EducationMatters Student Award Application Portal; school-specific selection, with recipients notified by September. The award must be claimed within two years of notification while registered in an eligible Canadian post-secondary program of at least two years.
Established in 2004 to promote further study in math, science, or engineering.
