About this scholarship
Mount Saint Vincent University Bachelor of Public Relations students entering their final year who have completed at least two public relations co-op work terms may be considered for the Ruth Hammond Scholarship.
The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement and is granted annually on the recommendation of Public Relations faculty in the Department of Communications Studies. Amount varies; one award is available.
Applicants submit the Ruth Hammond Scholarship Application Form and a résumé showing leadership in class, university, or community activities and dedication to a public relations career to Financial Aid by May 15 at 4:00 p.m. Faculty recommendation is part of selection.
The scholarship was established by CPRS (Toronto) and supported by friends, colleagues, and family of Ruth Hammond, APR, a leader in Canadian public relations education and an Honourary Doctorate recipient from Mount Saint Vincent.
