Russell Cole Memorial Lighting Design Competition

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students in accredited architecture, interior design, engineering, or theater programs at institutions in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, or Riverside counties may submit a lighting design competition entry. Applicants must be graduates of a high school or currently attending a program in those counties.

Prize amounts vary. Students may enter conceptual or advanced categories, with one entry per student uploaded through the IESLA website. Finalists present live online in June.

The Russell Cole Memorial Lighting Design Competition was established by the Illuminating Engineering Society, Los Angeles Section, to recognize southern California students passionate about light and architecture.
