About this scholarship

High school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors in the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut) with at least a 3.0 GPA who are majoring or planning to major in environmental science, environmental studies, biology, engineering, or a related physical science may apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled at an accredited school.

One $1,500 award is given through an essay competition judged by RTK Environmental founder Robert Weitz and senior inspectors.
