About this scholarship
For full-time doctoral students (including combined MA/PhD or fast-track programs) at Canadian universities whose research addresses the unique context of military service and can improve the physical or mental health or well-being of Veterans or related populations and their families. Preference is given to students at CIMVHR partner universities and to Canadian students. Applicants need ethics clearance where applicable and should show strong research methodology and potential for high-impact work.
One scholarship provides $25,000 per year for two years.
Established by CIMVHR and the Royal Canadian Legion to train a future generation of military, Veteran, and family health researchers. Applications are peer-reviewed by CIMVHR's College of Peer Reviewers.
