Rose City Scholarship

Female high school seniors in Multnomah County, Oregon, who plan to enroll full-time at a four-year college or university may apply. Applicants need a minimum 3.0 GPA or a 525 GED score.

Scholarship amounts vary. The Pi Alpha Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority selects recipients based on application quality, student need, and community involvement.

Submit a typed 500-word essay on your future plans, an official transcript or GED proof, and two written recommendations, preferably from a teacher, minister, employer, or community leader. A professional headshot and photo release are also required.

The award was first given in 2001 and later renamed the Oregon Dove Scholarship to honor the Sorority's symbol and the Portland Metro chapter.
