About this scholarship
Current or former foster youth entering college as freshmen at an accredited college or university may apply for the Roman & Jennifer Borrego Micro Scholarship.
Two recipients each receive $300 per semester ($600 total) for school fees, books, or supplies, released after the census date with enrollment verification. Recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA for the spring portion.
Submit a completed application, proof of foster care status and college acceptance, and a 500-750 word essay on resilience by the stated deadline.
