About this scholarship
Roller skating athletes age 16 or older (American Roller Sports, RSA, or US Roller Sports members), or high school seniors within one year of graduation who are family or employees of RSA member rinks, may apply for college or trade school.
Six awards totaling $13,000 are granted, including academic scholarships of up to $5,000 and athlete scholarships of $1,000 each.
Submit a complete application with essay, transcripts, test scores if applicable, and three letters of recommendation by March 31.

- Must be a high school senior or no more than one year out of high school
- Must be certified as a family member, employee, or employee's family member of a card-carrying RSA (Roller Skating Association) member
- Minimum 3.2 GPA on an unadjusted 4.0 scale
- ACT/SAT scores must be submitted with the application
- Three letters of reference: one each from an RSA member, a current/former guidance counselor, and a current/former teacher
- Complete high school transcripts
- Completed application form submitted in its entirety
- Application postmarked by March 31, 2026
