About this scholarship

Open to domestic UBC Vancouver Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production students who are First Nations, Inuit, or Métis, or who identify as Black, entering the program directly from secondary school or transferring from another post-secondary institution. Students must be academically qualified with demonstrated artistic and creative interests.

Awards totalling $3,000 are available annually through the Rogers Multicultural Film Endowment Fund; per-recipient value varies. Subject to continued good academic standing, awards may be renewed for a further three years of study or until the first undergraduate degree is obtained, whichever comes first. Recipients are recommended by the Department of Theatre and Film.
