Roger S Smith Undergraduate Student Research Award in the Faculty of Education

University of Alberta Faculty of Education undergraduate entering second, third, or fourth year with satisfactory academic standing and a Faculty GPA of 3.0 or higher. The award supports research partnerships between undergraduates and faculty in SSHRC-fundable disciplines. Students must not have completed degree requirements before the research term begins.

Funding is $5,000 for about 15 weeks (roughly 330 hours) of research from May to August. About 10 awards are available. Apply through the Faculty of Education.
