About this scholarship

U.S. citizens who are residents of an RMMI member state and enrolled full-time in a four-year mining-related or engineering degree (mining, geology, mineral processing, metallurgy, electrical, mechanical, or environmental). High school students are not eligible.

The initial award is $2,000, with renewals available for a total of up to $5,000 over three years. Recipients attend the RMMI annual conference in June.
