About this scholarship
Glenview-area high school seniors who are Glenview residents or District 225 students planning to major in visual art in college may apply.
One scholarship of $5,000 is awarded directly to the student.
Submit a completed application postmarked by March 31 with a digital portfolio of at least 10 images, two recommendation letters (one from an art teacher), and proof of college acceptance as a visual arts major by April 15. Applicants may be asked to interview with the Scholarship Committee.

- Essay of 250 to 500 words about artistic inspiration and becoming a professional artist
- Be a graduating high school senior planning to major in a visual art in college
- Reside in Glenview or be a District 225 student
- Two letters of recommendation (at least one from an art teacher; second from a teacher or other adult who knows you well)
- Digital portfolio of at least 10 images of your work, emailed to contact@glenviewartleague.org
- Completed application postmarked by March 31
- Proof of college acceptance as a visual arts major, due by April 15
- Family members of Glenview Art League Board of Directors are not eligible
