Robert Lewis Baker Memorial Scholarship

Maryland residents who are college juniors, seniors, or graduate students (sophomores may apply for junior-year funding) pursuing ornamental horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related major that supports the mission of the garden clubs at an accredited U.S. college or university may apply.

Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland awards two Robert Lewis Baker memorial scholarships annually through the NGC/CAR-SGC scholarship program. One-year grants. Mail a complete hard-copy packet including the FGCMD application, financial aid form, transcripts, a one-page letter naming this scholarship, an activities list from the last three years, and two recommendations. Do not send applications to the NGC Scholarship Chairman.
