Robert Kennedy Family Graduate Scholarship in Forestry

Graduate students enrolled in a thesis-based master's program in the UBC Faculty of Forestry whose area of study is wood science may be considered. The scholarship may be given to the same recipient for a maximum of two years.

Scholarships are endowed from a fund; award amounts vary.

The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Forestry in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate application.

The Kennedy family, friends, colleagues, and matching Faculty of Forestry funds established the endowment in memory of Dr. Robert (Bob) Kennedy (1931-2019), Dean of Forestry from 1983 until 1991.
